Intensive Suit Therapy Program  

Prior to the commencement of the Intensive Suit Therapy program a detailed evaluation of the cases is carried out to determine the abilities of each case. The following evaluations are carried: 
 

 
Gross motor abilities                                                                Fine motor abilities                                                           Personal social abilities                                                  Language abilities                                                               Muscle test to determine muscle power                                         Muscle flexibility test to determine the length of the muscle  Joint Range of Motion to determine the mobility of the joint  Joint stability test                                                                    Bone Length test to determine limb discrepancy

Function activities

 

As a result of the evaluation a unique program is set for each case.


The program consists of 6 hrs per day as follows:

                     
Warming up the muscles with wax and a massage for 1/2 hr.

Suit therapy for 1 1/2 hrs.
MGU therapy for 1/2 an hour.
Spider therapy for 1/2 an hour.
Manual off suit therapy for 1/2 hr.
Cooling down therapy for 2 1/2 hrs. and could be a combination of any of the following depending on the case:
Space Walking therapy                                                HOPEFLEX  therapy                                                               Stand Frame, Splints, Sitting, free Standing, Gait training
